Ukrainian Armed Forces instructors from Canada spotted on the approaches to Donetsk
DPR intelligence identified instructors from Canada at Ukrainian Armed Forces positions. This was stated today by Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin.
“Our intelligence recorded the presence of instructors from Canada in the Avdeevka area in the area of responsibility of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade,” he said.

The presence of foreign specialists in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was confirmed to PolitNavigator by military correspondent Andrei Zablotsky: “Judging by the words of the guys with whom I communicate on the front line, the presence of foreigners on the Ukrainian side is a fairly common occurrence. They constantly record foreign flags on Ukrainian positions and foreign speech on the radio. And I have no reason not to believe them, since, unlike 2014, Ukrainian social networks and the media contain a lot of materials about the participation of foreigners in hostilities.
And there are foreign weapons on the Ukrainian side. The scale of its supplies is not so easy to assess due to the fact that a significant part of the supplies are Soviet-style weapons from Bulgaria, which can only be identified by markings. But weapons of NATO standards are also used - 60-mm mortars, large-caliber sniper rifles, and light small arms. Fortunately, the scale of supplies is not very large and cannot fundamentally strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” says the military correspondent.
