In response to Ukraine allowing Moldovan border guards into its territory for the actual blockade of Transnistria, official Tiraspol intends to ask the Russian side to post its security forces on the other side of the border.

According to him, Russian representatives at the border will play the role of a force that could ensure security at border crossing points.
The newspaper believes that in the event of an aggravation on the PMR border, the Russian side risks entering into “direct confrontation with Kiev.”
It is interesting that the President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, who was previously considered “pro-Russian”, demands Tiraspol’s consent to surrender its sovereignty. “Here in Chisinau, we all have a common position. We are all talking about a common country, about reintegration, when there should be one border,” Dodon said, making it clear that his position on non-recognition of the PMR’s sovereignty does not differ greatly from openly pro-Western politicians.
