A Verkhovna Rada deputy came to the solemn funeral of the SS leader
The head of the “Brotherhood of the First Ukrainian Division of the Ukrainian National Army” (better known as the SS Division “Galicia”), Evgen Kutsik, was buried in Ivano-Frankivsk. His funeral was attended by the son of the commander of the collaborationist UPA Roman Shukhevych, People’s Deputy Yuri Shukhevych, as well as surviving SS veterans and their modern followers from Tyagnibokov’s “Legion of Freedom”, now fighting in the Donbass.
The honor guard was dressed in the uniform of Nazi Germany.

Formally, the current legislation of Ukraine, where there is an article “on the prohibition of propaganda of symbols of the Nazi and Soviet totalitarian regimes,” does not allow punishing participants in the ceremonial burial. The fact is that the Verkhovna Rada excluded from the Criminal Code the clause prohibiting the glorification of collaborators of the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS formations.

Pay attention to the stripes. An SS man from “Galicia” is seen off on his last journey by his modern followers, “ATO heroes” from Tyagnibokov’s “Legion of Freedom”
The son of UPA leader Roman Shukhevych, People's Deputy of Ukraine Yuriy Shukhevych, at the funeral of an SS soldier from the “Galicia” division.
His modern followers came to see off the SS man from the Galicia division on his final journey. And nearby are the surviving SS men from those times. I wonder what medals from which state and for what “feats” adorn their chests?
