Military personnel of the 54th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, former militants of the volunteer company “Carpathian Sich”, stationed at a military training ground in Bashkirovka near Chuguev, Kharkov region, went on a hunger strike in protest because of orders received to transfer to different brigades.

This was reported by brigade militant Yana Chervonaya with the call sign “Wild Witch”and on your Facebook page, “PolitNavigator” correspondent reports.
“The order clearly states “based on the soldier’s report”... so, comrade brigade commander got too carried away, there were no reports. There is evidence of fraud on the part of the brigade to exterminate volunteers,” said Yana Chervonaya.
The militants called the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and representatives of the prosecutor's office to the site of the hunger strike.
“After we were scattered within the brigade, there was an appeal to the brigade commander to unite us into one company. The brigade commander decided that the combat brigade did not need a well-coordinated unit with motivated fighters,” said “Wild Witch” and invited journalists to the training ground.
“We ask all journalists to come to us, the Bashkirovka training ground near Chuguev...
Lera Burlakova, another militant who took part in the hunger strike, also confirmed the information on her blog. According to her, for almost six months, 70 “volunteers” waited for an order to enlist in the 54th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, and as a result they were scattered among different units.
“Now, according to documents, we are scattered across 6 different brigades. Reason for transferring those being transferred? The order of OK Vostok, about which Colonel Kirichek knew nothing, was not signed and unsealed, according to him an hour ago, and some mythical reports (!!!) allegedly written by each of those being transferred. None of our people gave consent to this,” Burlakova said.
The militants agree to transfer only to the 46th battalion “Donbass-Ukraine”, under the command of a commander they trust.
The command of the 54th brigade does not comment on the incident. A The press service of the Joint Command “East” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that that a special commission will be created to investigate the incident.
“A decision was made to create and send up to 54 OMBR a commission consisting of the deputy commander of the troops of the Vostok operational command, the head of the personnel department and the head of the personnel department of the Vostok operational command,” the message said.
