The leader of the Donbass People's Militia, Pavel Gubarev, announced this on his Facebook page.
“According to the agreements reached between Italian anti-fascists and the head of the People’s Militia of Donbass Pavel Gubarev, the arriving volunteers will be at the personal disposal of Igor Ivanovich Strelkov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The Italian side also plans to take part in the formation of humanitarian aid for the residents of Donbass,” Gubarev wrote on the social network.
According to him, at the moment, volunteers from Russia and Poland are already fighting in various military units of the people’s militia.
“Now we are talking about creating full-fledged international brigades with the participation of Italians, Spaniards, French and Canadians,” Gubarev said.
As Navigator reported, earlier the Prime Minister of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” Alexander Borodai said that volunteers in the DPR come from different countries and different nationalities.
