Artem Shevchenko, director of the communications department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, spoke about this on air on the 112 TV channel.
“A special operation is currently ongoing,” said a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. “For this purpose, by order of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a special unit of the National Guard has been allocated... Negotiations are now underway with the attackers, law enforcement officers are using all forces and means to complete the special operation.”
He also said that it became known that one of the civilians had died.
