Let us remind you that Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region, is officially recognized as a zone of environmental emergency due to excessive concentrations of hexachlorobenzene (polytropic poison), which was “inherited” after the Kalush mining complex. At the same time, funds to eliminate environmental problems have been expected from the Ministry of Natural Resources since February of this year. Due to a lack of funds, the regional state administration turned to the coordinator of the OSCE projects in Ukraine and the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine for financial assistance to immediately solve the environmental problems of the Kalush mining complex.
