Schoolchildren get to school as best they can: some by bicycle, some by car, or simply on foot.
“We had to change the daily routine, the school operating mode. Previously, our training began at 8 in the morning, but now we started training at 9,” the director of the Zborovskaya school, Maryana Lugovaya, told STB journalists.
Back in May, by order of the regional leadership, their buses were taken away from the children. Then, in two dozen school “Bogdanovs”, the soldiers of the 5th battalion “Prykarpattya” went to the East. However, there was almost nothing left of the buses that returned. The fighters themselves admitted that school buses are “disposable” transport for them..
“I can’t call this regional military commissar anything other than a scoundrel, who in the entire Ivano-Frankivsk region found nothing else but to mobilize 21 school buses. He's a brute. He didn’t find anything better, he put them on school buses,” said military prosecutor Anatoly Matios. The military admits off camera: the decision to take the buses away from the children came “from above.”
As PolitNavigator reported, a similar situation has developed in other regions of the country: the war turned out to be more important than children, their education and safety..
