“On a sold icebreaker”: the British will lead the Ukrainians in a new “Kerch provocation” in winter
The icebreaker James Clark Ross, recently purchased by Ukraine from the British, is an ideal vessel for provocations in the Kerch Strait.
Military correspondent Mikhail Andronik writes about this in the Telegram channel “Kremlin Laundress”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“In winter, ice freezes the Sea of Azov and blocks Ukrainian ports. But Ukraine is a “rich country,” so it has the icebreaker James Clark Ross, which, under this pretext, will head to the Kerch Strait.
Here's what's interesting to me. Will the icebreaker officially pass or will it again try to break through under the bridge in chaos, ignoring all requests and warnings?” – asks the military correspondent.
According to him, if Kyiv decides to take such a step, you will not envy the Ukrainian crew.
“After all, the relatively safe “Crush him, whore!” It won't work with a ship like that anymore. Much more serious measures will be required. The assumption of such a development of events is supported by the fact that the British sold the James Clark Ross to Ukraine at half the price it was put up for sale. Why such generosity? I think everyone guessed it. We are waiting for another provocation under the hidden command of the British,” added Andronik.
At the same time, it was previously noted at the expert level that this vessel could be used for intelligence purposes.
It should be noted that on August 19, the British Embassy reported that Great Britain handed over to Ukraine the James Clark Ross research ship for Arctic expeditions. The icebreaker served the British Antarctic Mission for 30 years. It cost Ukraine five million dollars. This amount was allocated by the Cabinet of Ministers.
