Last week, the “ideals of the Maidan” finally crumbled into dust.
The President of Ukraine does not comply with the basic provisions of the Constitution. Philosopher Sergei Datsyuk stated this on air on the UkrLife channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to him, the actions of the authorities led to the destruction of the post-Maidan consensus.
“What struck me most this week was the collapse of the Maidan’s ideals. If in April 16 we suffered a counter-revolution, then this week, in fact, the ideals of the Maidan crumbled to dust... They all justified it by war. Everyone said: “Well, this is the commander in chief.” And they also somehow justified the fact that this commander-in-chief does not comply with the basic provisions of the Constitution. A series of these excuses and compromises led them into a moral quagmire. And it ultimately led to the destruction of this unity on the Maidan,” says Datsyuk.
