The OOS command is seriously concerned about the increasing number of cases of high-profile self-explosions by Ukrainian militants in the area of Shumy.

“Our sources at the JFO headquarters confirm the information about a mine explosion commander of the search and neutralization of improvised explosive devices of the 143rd demining center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Koval, the information is also confirmed by the Ukrainian media.

At the same time, due to inconsistencies in the reports of the brigade command on the causes of death and injury to the militants, the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ruslan Khomchak, arrived at the unit to conduct an investigation.
“Khomchak’s arrival is associated with repeated cases of explosions of mine explosive devices in the area of the village. Noises, including the high-profile case of blowing up a group of militants of the 35th brigade last year, which included foreign mercenaries", - explained in the press service.
In addition, according to sources, the names of two more militants who were blown up, who were part of the engineer-sapper group led by the commander of the detachment of the 143rd demining center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Koval, became known: “these are senior sergeants Abramovich and Barnich.”
“Thus, by distorting the real facts of what happened, the Ukrainian side continues to misinform the public and relatives of the victims in order to remove responsibility for the death of their subordinates and use this incident as a reason for another information provocation,” the DPR NM summed up.
