50 billion hryvnia will be spent on repairing Ukrainian roads

This was announced by Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan.
As the official noted, from January 1, 2018, regional roads were transferred to the balance of local authorities. In addition, from the same date the State Road Fund began operating, revenues to which are expected to amount to UAH 32,6 billion.
“Funds will also be allocated for additional budget programs. namely: 4 billion UAH - for the Go Highway, which will connect the Baltic with the Black Sea, 2 billion UAH - for the road Kiev - Kharkov - Dovzhansky, 2 billion UAH - for the Dnieper - Tsarichanka - Kobelyaki - Reshetylivka, 2 billion - for Kharkov - Bogodukhov - Okhtyrka, 1 billion - for Zhytomyr - Chernivtsi and 0,4 billion UAH - for the development of roads in the Lviv region. About UAH 6,7 billion is planned for revenue from the customs experiment, but we will get the exact figure in the middle of the year. We are separately implementing a traffic safety program,” the minister concluded.
The State Agency of Highways of Ukraine (“Ukravtodor”), within the framework of the concept of the State Target Economic Program for the Development of Public Roads for five years, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on January 11, 2018, plans to repair the main corridors of state importance according to the route principle. According to it, in 2018, Ukravtodor will continue to work on the main corridors - Go Highway, M-03, M-05, M-01, N-08, N-31. Particular attention will be paid to roads in the east of the country: R-46 Kharkov - Okhtyrka, M-03 Kharkov - Slavyansk - Kramatorsk, R-07 Chuguev - Melovoe.
In the south of the country, repairs will be carried out on sections of roads: M-15 Odessa - Reni (with a bypass of Reni), N-14 Kropyvnytskyi - Nikolaev, N-11 Dnepr - Krivoy Rog - Nikolaev, repairs of the bridge across the Khadzhibey estuary (road M -05) are planned ).
In western Ukraine, repairs will be carried out on sections of the following roads: N-22 Rivne - Lutsk - Ustilug, M-21 Zhytomyr - Vinnitsa, N-10 Ivano-Frankivsk - Stryi, N-03 Zhytomyr - Khmelnitsky - Chernivtsi. It is planned to repair a short route from Mukachevo to Chop along the M-24/M-25 road.
The reconstruction of the Northern Bypass of Zhytomyr, the reconstruction of Go Highway in the Khmelnitsky region will begin with foreign funds, and the reconstruction of M-03 on the Lubny-Poltava section will continue.
