A parcel with an explosive device was received at the Krivoy Rog City Council building today, which was neutralized.

So, on February 10, an employee of the Municipal Guard called line 102 and reported that there might be explosives in the City Council building. The guardsman noted that the Novaya Poshta courier brought a parcel into the building addressed to and. O. mayor Yuri Vilkul. A bomb-like object was found inside.
The box with the parcel was immediately taken out into the street, and everyone present was evacuated from the City Council. Sappers and dog handlers began checking the building. SBU officers, firefighters and doctors also arrived at the scene.
A check of the parcel confirmed that it contained explosives. Explosive technicians immediately, without moving far from the City Council building, destroyed the “parcel” by conducting a controlled explosion.
Law enforcement officials have not yet commented on what happened, but rumors have already spread in the local media that the package was delivered by a person who allegedly came from Belarus.
