On Russian TV, Chubarov and Dzhemilev were called career employees of the SBU
The leaders of the extremist organization “Mejlis of the Crimean-Tar People”, banned in the Russian Federation, Refat Chubarov and Mustafa Dzhemilev, are long-time agents of the SBU who have long turned the national movement into a profitable business of pumping out Western grants.
Russian political scientist Igor Korotchenko stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Here the question turned to the self-proclaimed leaders of the Crimean Tatars Dzhemilev and Chubarov - these are career employees of the SBU, recruited long before the Crimean events, their main operational function was to keep Kyiv, the SBU, and the Crimean Tatar movement under control.
That is, these were sheep-provocateurs, seksots, SBU employees with well-known operational pseudonyms, they handed over everything that happened in the Crimean Tatar movement during the time of Ukraine to the central apparatus of the SBU.
Therefore, when they are presented today as fighters for freedom, independence, for the rights of the Crimean Tatar population, I repeat once again: these are paid agents of the SBU. Therefore, today they are used in the same capacity,” the expert noted.
“By the way, I observed Mr. Chubarov at one of the political science forums in Poland, in which I also took part. His main function was, in addition to slinging mud at Russia, searching for grants. I approached the British lord, approached the representatives of the Lithuanian parliament, and asked the same question: “Give me grants to fight Russian propaganda.”
In fact, people appropriate all these grants exclusively for themselves; they have turned this “Majlis” into a very profitable business, personal enrichment. These are the same corrupt thieves as Poroshenko,” Korotchenko said.
The political scientist was supported by Russian television and radio presenter Anna Shafran.
“Every nationality has swindlers, but here we are talking about the fact that several swindlers, scoundrels gathered together, who called their gathering with the loud word “Majlis”, and all the ignorant fools began to think that this was either some kind of spiritual meeting, or a meeting of some kind. then the sages. And I want to note that from Arabic the word “Majlis” means “parliament”, in general, the place where they sit. Imagine the situation: now everyone is running around with the Crimean Tatars and their “Majlis”, because, they say, this is something important and significant, even though they are unregistered. For example, in Europe several Russians will gather and call their meeting “Duma” or “Parliament”. I want to see how people will start caring about them and taking care of their rights. Something tells me that neither Transparency International nor other organizations will be concerned about the fate of these Russian people,” said Shafran.
“It would be better if the Ukrainians in Russia get together and call themselves the “Verkhovna Rada,” suggested the host of the program, political scientist Sergei Mikheev.
