There was a battle on Russian TV over the mess in Ukraine
During the program “Time will tell,” a verbal altercation occurred between its host Artyom Sheinin and Polish journalist Jacob Koreyba, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I now have a unique opportunity to answer both Evgeny and Maxim in one sentence. I remind you that by the law of January 28, 2008 in Poland, Ukrainian nationalism was officially equated at the legislative level with Hitler’s Nazism. If this fact offends Maxim (Maxim Yali - Author), then this is his personal problem. He must figure out within himself, just like all other citizens of Ukraine, what is more important to them: Europe or this all? At this stage, neither I personally nor our country have any other answer to their country,” Koreyba said.
In response to this, the host of the program, Artyom Sheinin, reminded him of his recent sayings.
“Aren’t you here for four years shouting that “we will support and help any madmen who will help tear Ukraine away from us. But Nitsoy, or rather in the plural, Nitsoyev, you released him, it was you who created a situation in which millions of sane people in Ukraine should, at least with an eye on the Nitsoyevs, Tarasyukovs and Parasyuks, speak, live, write SMS, and so on , you did it. And here you are acting as a representative of something. It’s your fault,” he noted.
Koreyba replied:
“If I wanted to take this substance into my hands, I would go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but otherwise let our politicians do this.”
Artyom Sheinin, in response to this, hastened to remind that Nitsoi and others like her are a product of politics, including that of the Polish authorities.
“You should not take this substance into your hands. You gave birth to it, this substance. “Nitsoi is the result of your actions,” he said.
Thank you!
