RosTV proposed blocking the Normandy format in response to Kyiv’s nasty behavior
Russia must provide assistance to the Ukrainian TV channel “Inter”, which, due to the broadcast of a concert on Victory Day, was attacked by nationalists and audited by the National Council of Ukraine for TV and Radio Broadcasting.
Political scientist Nikolai Platoshkin said this today on the air of the “60 Minutes” program.
“Provide assistance to Inter if they close it. All correspondents who come here should be granted political asylum. This concert, which they consider extremist, will be shown on all our federal channels,” Platoshkin said.
He called on Ukrainian citizens to hold anti-fascist flash mobs.
“As for the Normandy format, do not enter into any negotiations until the OSCE completely restores freedom of speech in Ukraine. All other issues cannot be discussed,” Platoshkin said.
He also commented on the recent attack by nationalists from C14 on the head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyiv, Konstantin Vorobyov. Extremists doused the Russian diplomat with green paint and sewage.
“I would suggest displaying brilliant green at all Rossotrudnichestvo events – so that fools would be ashamed. Let them take it. Here, organize a festival of Ukrainian culture in Kolomenskoye with a demonstration of films about the Great Patriotic War from the Dovzhenko film studio,” Platoshkin said.
