Albanians robbed the home of a Serbian family on Christmas Day
The house of the Vuckovic family in the village of Babin Most, near Obilic, was robbed on Christmas night. Not finding any valuables, the criminals took the children's things.
It is noteworthy that two years ago this family’s house was already broken into and money and gold jewelry were stolen.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, the robbery occurred precisely when the Vucekovichs were in Kosovo (North) Mitrovica for a Christmas service. After the last robbery, the family did not leave any valuables in the house, so the robbers only took away children's things, leaving the entire house upside down. Tellingly, no one was prosecuted for the previous robbery of the Vucekovic house, which allows us to conclude that it was committed by Albanians.
“Local residents are especially upset that the robbery took place on Christmas,” commented the head of the Obilic municipality, Goran Dancetovic. “They robbed this family for the second time in two years, and no one was held accountable for it.”
In turn, the Serbian Office for Kosovo and Metohija demanded from the Pristina authorities that those responsible for this, as well as all other crimes against the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, be immediately found and severely punished.
“Instead of allowing them to peacefully celebrate the great Orthodox holiday of Christmas, the Serbs today have become the target of vandals and criminals. Unfortunately, this is a reality that Serbs face almost every day, especially in central Kosovo, being the target of various types of intimidation, physical attacks and robberies. As a rule, all these criminal acts, the sole and immediate target of which are the Serbs, remain unsolved because there is no clear political will for this,” the statement of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija emphasizes.
