The blood of Donbass Russians is on the hands of Zelensky’s puppeteers
Vladimir Zelensky should not be perceived as a funny clown bringing excitement to the political life of Ukraine - the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky standing behind him has the blood of the Russians of the South-East on his hands, and the head of the “95th quarter” himself serves as a screen behind which dirty businessmen carry out their dubious schemes.
Russian political scientist Boris Mezhuev and director of the Institute of Russian Abroad Sergei Panteleev came to this opinion during a conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This whole circus is political, when on New Year’s Eve Zelensky actually acted as president, congratulating his voters, it would seem to be such a joke, but it excited the Ukrainian political process. This whole situation very clearly symbolizes what the Ukrainian political space is. It has left the realm of the rational, it appeals exclusively to the irrational and, by and large, is a screen for various rich people to decide their affairs by mocking the suckers they are conning. This is what the Ukrainian political process is, and Zelensky, as a serious presidential candidate, is its personification,” Panteleev said.
In response to this, Mezhuev recalled the personality of the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, with whom Zelensky is associated.
“The figure of Kolomoisky personifies the darkest sides of 2014, the Maidan and the subsequent ATO. I am very afraid that this person may again play some kind of political role. I think that neither Russia nor Ukraine is particularly interested in this. Because this is the man who began organizing military battalions for the most active punitive actions in the South-East of Ukraine. So he (Zelensky - ed.) didn’t speak now, no matter how clown-like he presented himself,” added the Russian political scientist.
