Note that the new 8th eastern longwall of the L4 seam was put into operation instead of the 30th eastern longwall, which was mined out and closed on November 6, its capacity will be about 1000 tons of Zh grade coal.

“Today the 8th eastern longwall of the L4 layer was put into operation as planned. The 6th eastern lava ended its existence on November 30th. On December 1, coal began to flow from the new longwall, and today, from the second shift, it will work at its standard load of 1000-1100 tons per day,” said the acting director of the mine named after. Zasyadko Andrey Necheporenko.

In addition, Necheporenko pointed to the fact that wages to all mine workers have been paid without delay since the introduction of external management:

“The work area has been secured for about a year and a half. For a year and a half, 250 workers at this site and the entire mine staff, about 3000 people, will be guaranteed to be provided with jobs and a stable salary, which, since the introduction of external management at the mine, has been paid monthly and without delay.”

Let us note that preparations for commissioning took place along the well-worn road.

“Coal mined in the longwall belongs to grade Zh, its second name is coke. It is used mainly in metallurgy, but now, while metallurgists are shaking things up, since its characteristics are suitable for the Zuevskaya Thermal Power Plant, we are shipping it there,” he added.

“The commission examined all the working places of the longwall itself and the workings adjacent to it. The longwall, and in general the excavation areas, are prepared in accordance with the design and technical documentation in full and in accordance with the mining and geological conditions. During the inspection, we made sure that all workplaces were provided with the necessary safety equipment for collective and individual protection. There are minor comments that will be resolved within one shift. Lava can work from the second shift and reach the planned load. In general, it can be assessed as “good,” reported First Deputy Chairman of the City Technical Supervision Authority Evgeny Pastukhov.

Also about the significance of the discovery of a new longwall at the mine named after. Zasyadko and the state of the coal industry in general, DPR Minister of Coal and Energy Eduard Golenko spoke:

“You all know the difficulties. The economic blockade by Ukraine has not been lifted. Our factories had to master new mining equipment after the hostilities. First of all, these are our Gorlovka machine plants, as well as some of the Makeevka ones. They had to organize repairs of mining equipment and powered roof supports.

The most important thing is that the company came under external management only in March. A lot of work was done with the team: it was necessary for people to believe that they were in a friendly team of a single family, that their mine and coal were really needed by the Republic.”

In addition, Eduard Golenko reported that this week a longwall had already been put into operation at the Kirov mine, and today a similar one at the mine named after. Zasyadko. Next week it is planned to commission the Zarya and Shakhterskaya Glubokaya mines at Torezantracite. At the end of the year - Donetsk coal company "Mine named after. Kalinina".

“In total, eleven longwalls will be opened this year, one horizon and the Yablunevsky mine site of the Volynskoye mine administration will be completely after the fighting, this is in the Debaltsevo cauldron.” Restored in September, it began working at full capacity,” Golenko concluded.
