“The Americans, who have long been looking for an opportunity to save face and get rid of this Ukrainian cargo, now feel the immediate need to get rid of Ukraine. Because while Ukraine is hanging on them like a weight, they cannot agree with Russia regarding the Chinese problem, because Ukraine refers to the fact that the USA, EU, NATO are its partners.
And these guys, who made the current Ukrainian government into power, are forced to nod and say - yes, we support the Ukrainian government. Maybe they don’t nod so actively, but still, they are forced to nod.
It turns out that in Moscow they are throwing up their hands - listen, here we have a Russophobic regime that sleeps every day and sees how to do some nasty things to Russia, do you support it and still come to negotiate something with us? This is nonsense.
Therefore, the United States needs to somehow get rid of Ukraine, but save face. And, moreover, in their huckstering manner, they would like to not easily get rid of it, but also sell it, preferably at a high price, but at least somehow. In return, get at least some kind of guarantee that Russia will behave in the Far East the way the United States would like. All this is quite complicated,” the political scientist explained.
He expressed his deep conviction that the article by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev was precisely about this problem.
“By the way, there was an article by Medvedev on this matter. She made it clear that, guys, we don’t care what happens in this Ukraine, we are ready to sit and wait for another 10 years.
