At the moment, among the candidates for the position of mayor of Kyiv, the current mayor Vitaliy Klitschko holds first place - 38,4%. He is followed by businessman Sergei Gusovsky with 9,2% (the party of the mayor of Lvov “Samopomich”) and Borislav Bereza with 8,2% (ex-Right Sector).
It is interesting that lawyer Tatyana Montyan, who actively criticized the authorities, received less than 2%.
“We can say that the second round will be in Kyiv, but it is still unrealistic to say who will be Vitali Klitschko’s opponent, because everyone else is within the error of 3%,” said talk show host Savik Shuster.
Approximately the same picture can be seen in the party lists in Kievrada. 27,2% voted for Petro Poroshenko’s Solidarity Bloc, 12,9% for the Self-Help Association, 10,5% for the Svoboda VO, 9,2% for the Batkivshchyna VO and 5,7 % - for the Unity party.
“Today the country elected the same coalition, by and large,” MP Yuriy Lutsenko commented on the preliminary results.
