“We had to take prisoners. The soldiers in my unit took on the Ukrainian military. There were also foreign citizens from foreign countries. There were blacks. Once we took one intersection. And this was unexpected for the enemy. And through this intersection - they often used it - a car drove by, carrying a Negro American. And they handed him over to our authorities. There they dealt with him further. There are a lot of guys from Europe. They told us, they took them prisoner... Poland, France,” said the deputy commander of the Semenovsky “Kedr” battalion, who is on leave in St. Petersburg after being wounded.
“They have pretty good equipment. Not Ukrainian. There's a collection there. They are not particularly subordinate to the Ukrainian military, so what they bought from them is what they wear,” said the militiaman.
