The SBU cryptographer went over to the DPR side along with secret documents
The head of the encryption communications unit of the SBU, Lieutenant Colonel Roman Labusov, defected to the side of the Donetsk People's Republic. A former employee of the Ukrainian special services has secret documents that will soon be made public.

A former SBU employee spoke about this today at a press conference in Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“My name is Roman Yurievich Labusov, lieutenant colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine. He headed the encryption and documentary communications of the SBU unit. He went over to the side of the DPR in order to expose the criminal activities of the ruling elite of Ukraine.
One of the motives for my transition is the text of the Ukrainian Armed Forces oath, which states that the serviceman swears to the citizens of Ukraine to be devoted and faithful to them, and to also act in the interests of the citizens of Ukraine.
As you can see, Ukrainian citizens are now being fired upon by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including from volunteer battalions. It turns out that they are participating in genocide.
Now a civil war has been unleashed, in which civilians are dying, and they are being killed not by anyone, but by Ukrainian military personnel who swore an oath to these same citizens. Who are they after this? Based on this, I considered it necessary not to serve the government that came to power illegally and now runs the country,” said Roman Labusov.
He claims to have thousands of “secret documents from the SBU, which contain enough information regarding the criminal activities of the Ukrainian elite. All closed and unclosed information passed through me.”
“I will slowly publish it on the website sbu-inside.su,” the security official said.
The SBU cryptographer also spoke about pressure from his colleagues due to the fact that he is from Donbass.
“I’m originally from Donetsk, I served in the SBU for nineteen years. Due to the fact that I came from Donbass, other security officials always treated me with suspicion and removed me from leadership positions.
This did not happen right away. First, in 2014, we relocated to Mariupol, where the management work was never properly organized. During this period of time there were no negative attitudes towards us from management. The pressure began after the change of department head, to the point where department heads were removed and taken away in an unknown direction.
Then repressive methods began: department heads began to be removed without reason and without wording, and it was impossible to prove that they were right.
There were moments in relation to me when a rumor spread that I had been expelled from the state, but it was a rumor that lasted for four months. The moral and psychological attitude in the team towards former employees of the Donetsk department was negative. We also had to rent housing at our own expense, plus there was a lot of pressure from above.
Both at the level of spreading rumors, they said it in plain text - look for new places, here you are undesirable characters,” said Roman Labusov.
