In the Sumy region, the Nazis destroyed a monument to Vatutin, declaring that he “got drunk and ran away”

In the village of Kamenka, in the Trostyanets district of the Sumy region, on the eve of Victory Day, the Nazis demolished a monument to the Soviet military leader and general, Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Vatutin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The nationalist community “Svitanok” reports this on its Facebook page.

“Bovvan Vatutin got drunk and ran away. We are waiting for others to escape,” the Nazis wrote cynically.

In the photographs released by the Nazis, you can see the ruins of the monument. True, who did this and how is not indicated.

It is also noted that the village of Kamenka is located on the border of Sumy and Kharkov regions.

Previously, neo-Nazi vandals destroyed the monument to Vatutin in Berdichev, Zhitomir region, and intended to do the same with the monument in Kyiv, next to which the general is buried.
