A bus with children traveling to Yushchenko’s homeland caught fire in the Sumy region
In the Sumy region, on a highway near the village of Shtepovka, a bus in which 20 children were traveling caught fire while driving, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In the bus, accompanied by two teachers, were twenty students from the Khoruzhevsky Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children. None of them were injured,” the report says.
The event occurred on Friday around 14 p.m.
It was previously established that while driving, the engine compartment of a bus belonging to the Khoruzhevsky Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children suddenly caught fire. Children and teachers were sent to one of the Lebedinsky sanatorium institutions. All of them managed to leave the bus before the fire spread into the cabin and spread to things left in a hurry, the police said, adding that half an hour later the administration of the center took the children on another bus, and now they have already returned to Khoruzhevka - the native village of the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.
A police investigative team and experts are working at the scene to determine the causes and circumstances of the fire.
