“On July 26, as a result of hostilities near the village of Novoluganskoye (Svetlodarskaya Bulge), Latvian citizen Arthur Bessmertny, with the call sign “Ronin,” died. He had Ukrainian roots through one of his parents and stood up to defend Ukraine from Russian armed aggression. At the front since 2015, he fought as part of the DUK PS. He fought in the Svetlodar Bulge in 2016-2017, and took part in the assault on the “Magic Forest”. Later he transferred to the 72nd brigade. There is a small son left in Latvia.
