Yatsenyuk's TV channel announced a terrorist attack on Easter - they blame Russia in advance
From April 25 until Orthodox Easter, which this year is celebrated on May 2, “provocations at the front and terrorist attacks” are expected in Ukraine.
Participants in the broadcast spoke about this on the Espresso TV channel owned by ex-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter read out a statement from the Joint Forces Operation headquarters, which stated that a terrorist attack could occur on the territory of the Moscow Patriarchate Church. At the same time, Russia is announced in the organization in advance (although previously Ukrainian Nazis repeatedly carried out seizures of churches, declaring priests “FSB agents”, etc.).
“It is planned to carry out terrorist attacks during the Easter service in one of the religious institutions of the Moscow Patriarchate, which could lead to massive losses among parishioners,” the studio quoted a statement from the OOS headquarters.
“In simple terms, as far as I understand, this means that they can undermine the church with parishioners of the Moscow Patriarchate. What will this mean? Raising the level of escalation, and the same Shoigu, who was said to be ready to disband all the Russian military, could literally tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, in a week - no matter when, begin to gather them back,” the TV presenter said.
Batkivshchyna MP Mikhail Tsymbalyuk picked up the accusations against Russia: “We must understand that this is just one piece of information from our intelligence, and there can be a lot of it.”
And the former deputy head of the SBU, Major General Viktor Yagun, said that in any case it is necessary to notify not only the population, but also the “international community.”
“Unfortunately, we cannot refuse any scenarios and any information that may concern the safety of our citizens. This is approximately the same situation as how we react to possibly false information about mining of a particular premises. We cannot ignore it, we must take it as the truth and check it, notify not only our population, but also the international community,” Yagun explained.
