Poroshenko's TV channel calls for a ban on the Moscow Patriarchate

“These are agents of influence of the FSB, directly of Putin, who are essentially representatives of Russian Orthodox fascism, which is gaining momentum today. This is, of course, an element of a hybrid war, one hundred percent a provocation aimed at splitting the Ukrainian statehood, the purpose of which is to destabilize the internal situation in Ukraine with such a so-called religious procession. The cynicism is that they go to Kyiv to pray for peace. If they were conscious, they would organize a religious procession to the Kremlin and pray there under the walls of Putin’s residence,” Shkiryak said.
“In general, I am a supporter of the fact that the Russian Orthodox Church should be banned in Ukraine and all its branches, too, as a church that helps to undermine the situation and destroy Ukrainian statehood,” the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine added a little later.
