Employees of the SBU, together with the prosecutor's office, exposed the mechanism of misappropriation of budget funds allocated for the psychological rehabilitation of combatants in a sanatorium in the Ternopil region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press center of the SBU.
“Operatives of the Security Service of Ukraine established that the director of a sanatorium complex in the Ternopil region embezzled large amounts of budget funds allocated to a medical institution as part of the implementation of the budget program. Almost a hundred combatants were required to undergo psychological rehabilitation from this amount,” the Security Service said.
Based on the results of the investigative actions, the director was informed of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 366 and part 4 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
