In the Ternopil region, doctors work for free for two months - there is no money in the local budget for doctors’ salaries, and they promise to solve the problem no earlier than the end of August.

According to the head of the department of the Podvolochisk Central District Hospital, Stepan Tsupa, the district administration is just throwing up their hands - they are waiting for a subvention from Kyiv to the region, and then the funds will reach the district.
“Why should we go and beg, are we some kind of beggars?.. We are not considered people. And they also want to carry out reforms. Why are these reforms, who needs them now, give the necessary funding,” Tsupa is indignant.
