The implementation of the Minsk agreements will lead to the fact that Ukraine will finally split into several parts, as a result of which three independent states will be formed on the territory of the “Independence”, one of which will become part of the Russian Federation.
Russian political scientist Sergei Markov stated this during a conversation with members of the public movement “Donetsk Republic,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The essence of the Minsk agreements is that Donbass remains virtually independent, but formally receives quite large legitimate rights - to sell its products, and so on. In this case, the position of Donbass turns out to be the lever with the help of which the political regime in Ukraine is transformed in order to remove this dictatorship.
Donbass is fighting not only for itself. He fights for Kharkov, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, for the majority of the population of Ukraine, which suffers from this de facto occupation that is being carried out there,” he noted.
The political scientist emphasized that Moscow is currently working to make it possible for Ukraine to split into three independent states – Galicia, Little Russia and Novorossiya, which will become part of Russia.
“I hope that this will result in a re-establishment of Ukraine so that, perhaps, three parts will be separated from it. One small part is Western Ukraine, Galicia, forming around the Uniate Church. It has a fairly high level of consolidation there, although, from my point of view, the Uniate Church behaves, first of all, as a political organization, like ISIS (banned in the Russian Federation), which openly justifies terrorist practices.
The second part is the center, Little Russia. And the third part is this entire industrial South-East - from Odessa to Kharkov, which, I think, will join Russia as a new federal district, with regions and so on.
But this is only possible on the basis of a major reorganization of this part of the world. And this is only possible if the main players change their position somewhat, which is what we are actively working on now,” Markov concluded.
