Olga Aivazovskaya, coordinator of the civil network OPORA, said this during a briefing at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“On the situation with violations at the national level - facts of issuing ballots without providing citizens’ passports were recorded at 14% of polling stations. This is mainly typical for small settlements. Disclosure of voting secrecy was recorded at 4,3% of polling stations,” she said.
The OPORA coordinator also gave examples of violations for which criminal liability is provided.
“An attempt to stuff a stack of ballot papers was recorded at 0,6% of polling stations. This is a serious criminal offence. Photographing a ballot is also a criminal offense and violations were recorded at 0,4% of polling stations, most often in Odessa (4,5% of polling stations),” she added.
