Unregistered pesticides and herbicides will be tested on Ukrainians
A number of deputies of the new convocation of the Verkhovna Rada are pushing for bill No. 2289, which allows the import of unregistered pesticides and herbicides into Ukraine.
Chairman of the Association of Livestock Breeders of Ukraine Irina Palamar stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Bill No. 2289 allows the import of unregistered pesticides and herbicides into Ukraine in order to do tests on us here. There, the norm of mandatory documentary confirmation of their registration in the country where they are produced is excluded. This norm is being removed.
The authors of this bill are Ivan Chaikovsky and Nikolai Kucher, who also pushed this bill in the last convocation. We barely stopped it, they pushed it through the committee into parliament, but they didn’t vote there. They are pushing him again, because, apparently, someone promised them something, to give them 100 million dollars so that you and I could be guinea pigs,” Palamarchuk said.
