In Ukraine, bandits with machine guns stole millions of hryvnia worth of gold and diamonds from a store
Four criminals broke into a jewelry store in Boryspil and, threatening a security guard with machine guns, stole jewelry worth about 5 million hryvnia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Kyiv region police say they are looking for the attackers.
“Four attackers in camouflage uniforms and masks broke into a jewelry store in the city of Boryspil and, threatening a security guard with machine guns, stole jewelry worth about 5 million hryvnia,” the department reports.
The attackers fled from the crime scene in a Rover car in an unknown direction.
“The store was under the protection of a private company. After the “panic button” was activated, employees of a private security agency arrived at the retail establishment, who, in turn, only then called the police,” the police clarifies.
Operation Siren was introduced in the Boryspil region and surrounding regions, but time was lost, so the search for criminals did not yield positive results.
