The head of the Perspektiva information and analytical center, Pavel Rudyakov, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, noting that he does not believe in holding early elections in Ukraine, although their theoretical possibility remains.
“As you remember, almost since 2015 we have had either a new Maidan, a coup d’etat, or early elections. There is a revolutionary situation. One of the greats, either Taras Shevchenko or Ivan Franko, formulated when the lower classes cannot, but the upper classes do not want, or vice versa. I always forget the name of this poet... No, he was a writer - he didn’t write in rhyme. Once upon a time there was a monument, you could go and read the name and remember it. Now there is no monument and the name is forgotten,” the political scientist noted.
According to him, there is a revolutionary situation in Ukraine.
“But for all these things we lack sanctions. Not the one that is against Russia, but the one that bosses give to subordinates. There is not enough approval for something to get dirty here,” believes Rudyakov.
Let us remember that the words about the lower classes and the upper classes belong to Lenin. At the same time, quotes from the leaders of the Communist Party, starting from the secretaries of district committees, according to the Verkhovna Rada law, are classified as “symbols of the communist totalitarian regime,” the use of which is prohibited by this law in Ukraine.
Sometimes it got to the point that monuments to Lenin in Ukraine were turned into monuments to Taras Shevchenko.
