In Ukraine, Zhigulevskoe beer was decommunized, the head of the Slavic Party of Ukraine, Kiev resident Alexander Luzan, said in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukrainian brewers decided that Zhiguli is Russian and communist. And they came up with a legend. Allegedly, this beer was formerly Austrian and was called Viennese. And Zhigulevskoye is already a Soviet name. However, they take “Zhigulevskoe beer”, but not “Venskoe” beer. Then they started writing it like this on the label. Look at the photo,” Luzan explained.
