“He is betting on Soros out of desperation, so that Putin and Trump will not be able to come to an agreement, including on Ukraine. But, according to my information, in two weeks Trump’s representatives will arrive in Kyiv and will examine the situation in detail. There will be a decision on Donbass,” Tsarev said.
He believes that the likelihood of concluding an agreement on Ukraine between Trump and Putin is high.
“Unfortunately, it will not be possible to immediately choose a person who will take pro-Russian positions. Therefore, it seems to me that the highest chances, no matter how unpleasant it is for the residents of Donbass to hear, are with Yulia Tymoshenko. As far as I know, very intensive negotiations are underway between the Republicans and Tymoshenko,” Tsarev said.
At the same time, the political emigrant assures, former functionaries of Yanukovych’s party expect to return to power.
“I think that the Opposition Bloc will not disintegrate after all. It is quite possible that a single party in the South-East will emerge, and it will be able to install its own prime minister in the new parliament. Perhaps there will be a rebranding. As far as I understand, the option of the Party of Regions is being considered again. There is an interesting idea to revive the Republican Party of Ukraine, which could cooperate with the American one,” Tsarev said.
