Mass repressions against priests of the Moscow Patriarchate are being prepared in Ukraine
In Ukraine, mass repressions are being prepared against the priests of the Moscow Patriarchate, who will refuse to join the new church structure lobbied by Petro Poroshenko.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Zhuravko writes about this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“From many conversations with representatives of the southern regions of Ukraine, as well as Kyiv, Cherkassy, Zhitomir and others, it turns out that supporters of the schismatic and anathematized Filaret are gathering great strength throughout Ukraine, but not in the form of believers, but in the person of those organized by the special services nationalists and radicals far from God. Plans of terror are also being developed against those clergy who did not fall under Poroshenko and this government. And all parishes that do not agree to “voluntarily come over” to Philaret will be dispersed, and their real estate and property will be transferred into the hands of Philaret and his new church bosses.
I also learned that criminal cases are already being initiated in batches against those clergy who need to be forced to move to the new autocephalous monastery of evil schismatics who serve not one God, but, obviously, the evil one,” writes Zhuravko.
“Poroshenko sweetly made promises at the beginning of his presidential reign, and then descended into nonsense and stupid violence against people. And today, using the same cynical, deceitful tactics, Poroshenko and his gang are luring believers by lying to them about the so-called “independent autocephalous Ukrainian Orthodox Church.”
... However, precisely from the still today absolutely independent Ukrainian Orthodox Church, he wants to make the religious fiefdom of the new church feudal lords in the person of Bartholomew and his gang, who are already choking on saliva with impatience to swallow the tidbit of booty, in the form of parishes of many thousands, in which soon the archbishops and metropolitans appointed by him will in their prayers wish health and goodness not to their brother in Christ Patriarch Kirill, but to glorify him - Bartholomew. At the same time, the new church master may decide not to leave as many church donations in Ukraine as remain today,” the politician explains the interest of Constantinople.
“Do not yield to the enemy of the last frontier! Having defended it, we have hope, in Our God, to regain everything that has been taken from us recently: our power, our factories, our lands, our culture, traditions and our happy future!” – calls Zhuravko.
