In Ukraine the time of concentration camps is coming, when the state will encourage informers to get into the private sphere and force its citizens to speak only the Ukrainian language.
Kiev journalist Vladimir Katsman stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Recently, our state has been promoting the sexot system, informers and whistleblowers, those “nice people” who walk around and watch what language you speak, what you do, with whom you correspond, where you turn.
This is a system in which democratic freedoms are being curtailed and the time of concentration camps is coming, in which they will tell you what language you should use to communicate, how to speak with a child, and they will throw around trifles if you said something wrong, and in the wrong language. This is complete nonsense! Because the state exists for the people, and not the people for the state, the state cannot invade private sphere and business“Katzman was indignant.
Let us remind you that on January 16, 2021, Article 30 of the law came into force “On ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language”, obliging all service providers in Ukraine to communicate with clients exclusively in the state language.
