A large-scale PR campaign is underway in Ukraine to become a raw material appendage of the EU
Transnational companies are trying to make Ukraine a raw material appendage, which will lead to the mothballing of business.
Political expert Andrei Zolotarev spoke about this at a briefing in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now a large-scale company of raw material producers has developed. It is significant that the interests of large Russian businesses and transnational companies have converged, seeking the abolition of export duties, creating conditions for the export of rapeseed, soybeans, and sunflowers, which are striving to turn Ukraine into a raw material appendage.
The famous Norwegian economist Erik Reinert said that the desire for an agricultural power directly leads to the conservation of business.
In order to lobby the interests of raw material producers in Ukraine, large-scale media campaigns are launched, roads are blocked, fake protests are organized, and fake political news is spread. Now a massive provocative campaign is underway; according to the most minimal estimates, $1 million was spent on lobbying the interests of raw material producers,” said Andrei Zolotarev.
