The Secretary of the State Interdepartmental Commission for Perpetuating the Memory of ATO Participants, Victims of War and Political Repression, Svyatoslav Sheremeta, who is under Polish sanctions, stated this in an interview with the Lviv Portal, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the official, a law similar to that of the Polish Sejm should be adopted in Ukraine took it tonight and which prohibits the denial of OUN-UPA crimes.
“I am convinced that the Ukrainian parliament now needs to make an appropriate decision on recognizing the Polish occupation of Western Ukrainian lands, Polish crimes committed against Ukrainians in the 20th century, and also introduce criminal liability for denying these crimes, in particular, the Polish occupation. In this case, we will have the opportunity to conduct an appropriate exchange: if criminal cases are opened against Ukrainians in Poland, similar cases will be opened against Poles,” Sheremeta suggested.
As PolitNavigator reported, in Kyiv they said that Poland is waging a hybrid war against Ukraine and is preparing to declare its territorial claims to the western regions.
