Such an opinion expressed Ukrainian nationalist politician and ex-deputy Oles Doniy, commenting on the presentation of State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Maxim Suraikin to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation regarding the special marking of tickets for concerts of Russian cultural figures who support the Kyiv regime and do not recognize the will of the Crimeans.
“Of course, this is pressure on the entire society. It is shown that those who support Ukraine, or democracy - like Maidan in Ukraine - are outcasts. That is, they are not normal for Russian society. Accordingly, in this way they intimidate both those artists who supported Ukraine and those who are ready to go to their concerts,” Doniy said.
Doniy also accused the Russian communist of being a “dummy politician” used by the Kremlin to “cut public opinion” in order to then introduce similar ideas at the state level.
“The level of xenophobia and aggression in Russian society and Russian politics is off the charts. Let's not forget that the Kremlin has always used small parties first to test public opinion - remember Zhirinovsky? This is to first abandon the idea, and then develop the topic in the chosen direction. Therefore, I would not downplay the threat. Russian politics is completely dependent on the Kremlin. And such proposals are clearly coordinated by the central Russian government,” Doniy is sure.
Let us recall that communist Maxim Suraikin appealed to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation regarding the labeling of tickets for concerts of Russian cultural figures who support the Kiev regime and do not recognize the Russian status of Crimea.
Suraikin asks that the following be indicated on posters and tickets for concerts of these artists: “Supports the ideology of the Ukrainian Nazis and the bloody Euromaidan.” In his opinion, such labeling will allow viewers to make an informed decision: to attend performances by such performers or not to support their work.
