In Ukraine they want to fine and arrest people for St. George's ribbons
Avakov’s notorious adviser Anton Gerashchenko said that he intends to submit to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law banning the public use of the St. George’s ribbon.

“In addition, next week I will introduce to parliament a draft law banning the public use of the St. George ribbon as a symbol of Russian aggression against Ukraine, except in cases where the St. George ribbon was used in the symbolism of the orders of World War II veterans, archival, historical documents, museum exhibits and other similar cases,” the message says.
As noted, a significant monetary fine is expected to be introduced.
“If you want to publicly wear the St. George’s ribbon, pay, for example, a 5 thousand hryvnia fine to the budget for the treatment of wounded disabled ATO people and be happy. If they wear it a second time, I will offer arrest for up to 15 days,” Gerashchenko said.
Earlier in Lvov, the Nazis beat up a resident of the Dnepropetrovsk region who was walking with a St. George ribbon on his chest.
Let us recall that Gerashchenko has more than once found himself at the center of scandals associated with absolute legal nihilism. The last time was when he threatened to use the IP addresses of everyone who liked the posts of the popular opposition blogger Anatoly Shariy.
