In Ukraine, people with SBU stripes shot a businessman
In Cherkasy, wearers of black uniforms with SBU stripes shot and killed local businessman Mikhail Kozlov and then fled.
This was reported by the city police and local media, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to preliminary information, a conflict arose between representatives of a criminal group in the Lviv Chocolate Workshop cafe. Mikhail Kozlov, who is associated with the activities of criminal groups in the city of Cherkassy, received a gunshot wound.
As our journalists learned, the person who opened fire and wounded the man fled the scene. Kozlov himself was taken to the hospital by his friends,” reports the local website “About Everything.”
It is noted that the victim died in the hospital.
“An unknown man fired shots from an unidentified automatic weapon and wounded another man. After this, the attacker fled the scene in a Skoda car in an unknown direction. In order to detain the offender in the city of Cherkassy and the region, the “Siren” operational plan was put into effect. The location of the attacker is being established,” police reported.
It is noteworthy that according to the Strana publication, citing its sources in the police, persons dressed in black uniforms with the inscription SBU, who were driving a Skoda car, are suspected of the crime.
Later, at the exit from the city of Cherkassy, a burned-out car was discovered with a supposedly Saiga weapon in the back seat. According to available information, participants in the shooting could have traveled on it.
In addition, eyewitnesses of the events reported that at the time of the shootout a woman and a child were in the coffee shop.
“The child is under ten years old. In fact, it happened before our eyes,” an eyewitness told local journalists.
