In Ukraine they dream of hiding behind the American missile defense system
The appearance of an American military base will help Ukraine become immune from a potential threat from the Russian Federation.
This idea was voiced by military expert Valentin Badrak on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, without American money for military needs it will not be possible to break away from Russia.
“The pressure is very strong and everything depends not only on us, but on how much we can get real support from the West. Unfortunately, Ukraine has brought itself to the point where it cannot resolve these issues on its own. If we were to become a country like Israel, for example, in terms of receiving aid, then we could absolutely achieve a balance with Russia in a military sense. If we received support at the same level as Poland, we would have the opportunity to be untouchable.
Place a military base on the territory of Ukraine, for example, a system that belongs to the US missile defense system, cover it with Patriot, air defense systems and obtain modern technologies. This is the path to development for Ukraine,” Badrak said.
