In Ukraine, international human rights organizations were declared stuffed with Kremlin agents
Ukrainian journalist and anti-Russian propagandist Vitaly Portnikov is dissatisfied with the statement of Tanya Cooper, coordinator for Ukraine from the human rights organization Human Rights Watch, who called the blocking of Russian sites “a cynical, politically calculated attack on freedom of information.”

“Before getting involved in Ukraine, Ms. Cooper worked in the Moscow office of the organization. Great place to recruit, let me tell you. And if Ms. Cooper avoided her, this does not mean that dozens of her colleagues, who are literally littered with all kinds of human rights organizations, did not become FSB agents.
This should always be kept in mind when reading such statements. Both our citizens and our special services,” Portnikov wrote on his Facebook page.
At the same time, many readers of the Kyiv propagandist, including those with liberal views, were skeptical about Portniokva’s accusations.
“And Cooper chose this moment to completely expose herself? Vitaly, in fact, people sometimes have their own opinions. When we worked together, I didn’t think a priori that you had been bought by the SBU (or whatever it was called then), since you lived in Kiev before,” noted the presenter of the radio station “Echo of Moscow” Yegor Bykovsky, who in the 90s worked together with Portnikov at Nezavisimaya Gazeta.
“Yes, everyone who not only worked in Moscow, but also visited it, of course, was recruited a long time ago. Here it is sometimes transmitted through the air, yes,” another Echo journalist Alexander Plyushchev remarked sarcastically.
As PolitNavigator reported, Freedom House recognizedthat blocking Russian social networks violates human rights.
