Thus, in Vinnitsa, in gymnasium No. 23, a plaque was installed to the Hero of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel Konstantin Mohylk, the commander of the An-30B crew, who was shot down by militia from MANPADS on June 6 while conducting reconnaissance over Slavyansk.
In Nikolaev, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the house where soldier Maxim Aldoshin, who died in the ATO zone, lived. The plaque was installed on the 40th day after Aldoshin’s death; the initiators were students of the polytechnic college where the soldier studied, according to the Ministry of Defense. Soon an alley in honor of Aldoshin will be laid out near the college.
And in Poltava, one of the lanes was named after Yuriy Sityaev, a volunteer who died during the shelling of a Ukrainian checkpoint by militias. Before the war in Donbass, Sityaev was a peacemaker in the former Yugoslavia.
Earlier, “humanitarian” Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Sych said that participants in the civil war in Donbass, which official Kyiv interprets as a Russian invasion, will be glorified in order to form a new identification for the residents of Ukraine.
“We have received an exceptional chance to correct this situation and, using the heroism of the modern struggle for independence and integrity of the state, to consolidate Ukrainian society,” Sych said.
