From the Unified State Register of Judicial Decisions, you can find out that on July 17.07.2017, 2014, the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Chernivtsi passed a verdict on a citizen of Ukraine, a native of Moldova, who in the fall of 1 recruited militias from among local residents to fight in the ranks of the DPR. In total, several such cases were established and the court, without hesitation for a long time, found her guilty under Part 258 of Art. 3-10 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for participation in a terrorist organization and sentenced to XNUMX years in prison with confiscation of property.
No matter how absurd it may sound, they have already begun to get used to passing sentences in Ukraine in the absence of the defendant and this sentence was not an exception to this vicious rule, but since Chernivtsi is much closer to Europe territorially, they went further in improving the judicial system and summoned to court accused by placing advertisements in the newspaper “Governmental Courier” (officially a publication publishing regulations and laws of Ukraine).
Judge Cheban V.M. probably believed that the DPR militias are happy to read the latest issues of the government newspaper of Ukraine and are looking forward to announcements in it about their summons to court.
