“Avakov weeks” have begun in Ukraine, hour “H” is the day of the UPA
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is in a difficult situation: the growing protests over the signing of the Steinmeier formula against the backdrop of a psychological blow after the failure in the United States lead to the realization that popular love has gone somewhere.
Journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now something terrible is happening for Zelensky, because public opinion polls have shown that for the first time Zelensky has gone in a diametrically different direction. And when he talked with the faction leaders (explained about the signed Steinmeier formula - Ed.), but I was afraid to go to the Rada - this is a very bad signal. This means that in America he received a severe psychological blow. Of course, it’s very difficult for him, because he suddenly realized that love had disappeared somewhere,” said Solovyov.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov noted that now that protests have broken out and the situation can develop in any way, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov is becoming a key figure.
“The next two weeks will be Avakov’s two weeks, and the date, hour “H,” will be October 14, Defender of the Fatherland Day, UPA Day, this is the day when large-scale protests traditionally take place. There are two weeks left, apparently there is money and will be invested.
How far they are ready to go, I don’t know, I’m interested in something else: how will the new government react to their actions? Again, turn a blind eye to how they will seize buildings, beat people, or make tough decisions against those who violate law and order? Here we will see how correct it was to leave Avakov in the place of Minister of Internal Affairs,” Kilinkarov added.
