A miners' revolt began in Ukraine
Ukrainian miners are owed more than 500 million hryvnia in wages. Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Gusak said this during the hour of questions to the government, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to him, next year's budget does not provide for payments to miners at all.
“Wage arrears exist constantly and now exceed 500 million hryvnia. Miners in eastern Ukraine are on strike and refuse to leave their mines. And Volyn Coal miners are blocking international routes on the western borders of Ukraine. And in next year’s budget there is no article at all about supporting the cost of coal products, from which salaries are paid. When will this mockery of miners stop?” said Husak.
